general business use of the Association and is not to be used to submit
inquiries about tour information. See other areas of this website
for information on actual guided tours of the battlefield.
The Association does maintain a telephone in the Guide break room which
is monitored when individuals are present. At other times an answering
machine is available. The phone number for this is (717) 337-1709.
In order to contact a Licensed Battlefield Guide representative in the
event of an emergency (need to contact an individual LBG, mechanical
breakdown of a bus coming in for a scheduled tour, etc) you may contact
the guide on duty at the National Park Service Visitor Center, 97
Taneytown Road, Gettysburg, PA. The phone number is (717) 334-1124,
Ext: 477. Please note that this individual is extremely busy most
of the time making contact with visitors entering the building and will
not have time for extensive conversations, trip planning, guide
reservations, general historic questions, etc. Please use this number
