"In the name of Pennsylvania, Charge!" was the battle cry of the Pennsylvania Reserves as they charged off Little Round Top the evening of July 2nd. This walk, which will focus on McCandless' Brigade at Gettysburg, will cover the formation of the Pennsylvania Reserves, their grueling march toward Gettysburg, and their often overlooked actions on July 2nd and 3rd. We will meet at the parking area at the northern base of Little Round Top (not at the parking lot on top of the hill), located at the northeast corner of the intersection of the Wheatfield Road and Sedgwick Avenue. There will be moderate walking, mostly on paved roads, but some on uneven or grassy areas.
