Captain John Hazard’s II Corp Artillery Brigade found itself caught in the bloody maelstrom that engulfed Cemetery Ridge for two days at Gettysburg. Heavily pressed, and heavily battered, the trefoil gunners fought with a steadfast resolve, suffering 28 men killed, 119 wounded, and three missing during the battle.
