Memoriam

Rebecca Ann (Becky) Lyons, 60, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 7, 2007, at Gettysburg Hospital. She was born on January 7, 1947, in Gettysburg, to the late Falda and James Lyons. She retired from the National Park Service in 2006 after 32 years of service. She held degrees in History from Adrian College in Michigan and Fort Hays University in Kansas. Rebecca served as an instructor for Harrisburg Area Community College and as guest speaker/lecturer for numerous colleges, universities, and Civil War Round Tables. There will be a graveside ceremony held at Evergreen Cemetery Wednesday, February 14, 2007, at 2 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O.
