Dennis E. Simmons
February 2, 1941 – March 19, 2026
Dennis E. Simmons, 85, husband of Jean Simmons, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, March 19th, 2026. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Elwood and Carrie Simmons.
He was a lifelong member of the Cochranville United Methodist Church and a member of Octorara High School class of 1959. A Licensed Battlefield Guide from 1997 – 2007.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters: Apryl Simmons of Milford, DE, Molly Simmons of Mountville, PA, and Bonnie DiSciullo (Vince) of Lancaster, PA and five grandchildren. He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters; Joanne Franklin of Cochranville, PA, Gary Simmons (Sandra) of Atglen, PA, Jennifer Hadley (Charles) of Cochranville, PA.
He was preceded in death by his brother David Walter Simmons of Cochranville.
Funeral Services will be held at the Cochranville United Methodist Church located at 92 Church St, Cochranville, PA 19330 on Saturday, March 28th, 2026 at 11:00am with visitation starting at 9:00am until time of service. Interment will take place directly following the service at Cochranville Untied Methodist Cemetery located on Cochran Street. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the Wilde Funeral Home in Parkesburg, PA.
